I’m a visual artist from Lima, and I began my personal practice in Buenos Aires in 2012 after studying architecture. My work explores the connections between memory, mystery, everyday life, and reconstruction; using drawing, writing, and embroidery as my main mediums. Through an abstract lens, I select and synthesize elements from my surroundings. I fragment forms, colors, and materials to create my own compositions, where text acts as a poetic and ironic counterpoint within a refined visual language.

Since I was a child, I’ve been connected to analog photography—a way of seeing that links past and present—which remains central to my process. I’m especially drawn to fleeting everyday encounters: urban compositions of waste, fragments of nature in motion, accidents, randomness, and found objects as triggers for an enigmatic visual narrative. In my textile work, thread is not only a material but also a mark—bringing texture and volume into each piece.

I’ve participated in group exhibitions across Latin America and Europe. In 2024, I was part of ESSERE. Vasto, complesso, unico in Turin, Italy. In 2023, I took part in DES/PRO/TEJIDAS. Artistic Narratives of Women and Dissidents at Lastcrit Gallery in Barcelona (December 2023 – January 2024) and at the Centro Cultural de España in Lima (March – April 2023), where I presented work in dialogue with other Latin American artists.

My training includes the project workshop “Encontrarse con una piedra y seguir” directed by Nancy La Rosa at Augusta Espacio (Cusco, 2023); the workshop “El fondo inestable” with Matías Duville at the Art Department of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Buenos Aires, 2018); and the critique group “Obrador” with Florencia Fernández Frank (Buenos Aires, 2016).

I studied Visual Arts at Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA) in Buenos Aires between 2012 and 2013, after completing studies in Architecture at Universidad de Palermo (Buenos Aires, 2010–2012) and the Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas (Lima, 2008–2009).

I currently live and work in Cusco, Peru.
